The Ivy Table Cafe is a nonprofit cafe where people of all ages, backgrounds, and income levels gather for great food and meaningful fellowship. It is a beautiful space where the entire community unites to support one another and have a positive impact on hunger worldwide.
Our menu offers pay-what-you-can pricing, so that those who need to be blessed by a free or reduced meal can receive one with dignity. While those who would like to bless others, can pay retail value. Because the cafe is run primarily by volunteers, tips are not accepted Any contribution made above advertised meal cost is treated as pay-it-forward donation to our ministry. 100% of the proceeds from the cafe are used to feed people in both Livingston County and the country of Thailand.

Our limited menu features a variety of made-from-scratch breakfast and lunch dishes and aways contains GF, DF, and V options. ​

Why do we need a pay-it-forward cafe in our community?
In Livingston County, 1 in 13 people experience food insecurity and do not have access to enough nutritious food, and 50% of them do not qualify for government food assistance. Having a shame free stigma free place where healthy and delicious food is available to everyone is essential. No one should have to go to bed hungry in any community (but especially one as affluent as ours). Increasing education about the food insecurity and providing simple and practical ways for everyone to help will have a huge impact on combating the problem.

As a pay-it-forward cafe, our mission is to promote generosity and kindness within our community. We offer a variety of opportunities for everyone to pay-it-forward by showing an act of kindness toward someone else and helping us spread joy.
