We would love to bless you with a free or reduced price meal
At The Ivy Table, our goal is to make delicious, nutritious food available to everyone regardless of story, circumstance, or financial means. As Livingston County's first and only pay-what-you-can cafe, all menu pricing suggests retail value only.
After placing an order, every guest is asked whether they would like to
1) pay-it-forward by paying the suggested menu price or t
2) pay-what-they-can and receive a free or reduced price meal.
There are no minimum qualifications to receive a pay-what-you-can meal, and no questions are asked. If you are in need, we would love to help.
Because we are run primarily by volunteers, we do not accept tips, any amount donated above the value of your meal is used to pay for the meal of someone else. At any point in time, when you look around our cafe, you cannot tell who is there to be blessed and who is there to be a blessing.

The Cafe
The Ivy Table cafe is currently open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30am-2:00pm, serving both breakfast and lunch all day long. Every dish is made from scratch with the freshest ingredients (many vegetables coming straight from our own garden)
10180 E. Grand River Ave, Brighton, MI 48116
If transportation is a problem, we will pay your LETS fare to/from the cafe. Call the LETS office directly to book a ride (517) 546-6600.

The Free Meal Fridge
When our cafe is not open, we keep prepared meals in a free meal fridge located at the front of our building in the shed by our garden. Anyone in need is welcome to help themselves at any time to a meal (1 per person per day please).
